Re: Boleyn Ground - The REAL Referendum - How Will You Be Voting?
The issue is the way its been labled the last ever EVER game by the boy sullivan. Had he not made this reference im sure people wouldnt really have an issue with it.

Ps- if they REALLY wanted to raise money and the profile of west ham ladies, why not let them play the first game at the OS instead...

Can WHO fund a team of snipers to keep watch 24 hours a day and shoot anyone who appears on the pitch with a ball?

I'm concerned that the last ever game there is likely to be between teams picked from the demolition crew...

Cannot see why anyone should object. It's just a patch of grass that will be ripped up in the near future.
Nobody has to go, nobody has to give money.
What difference does it make? There are some right miserable fuckers about.

I don't care whether they play this game or not. It's not a real game anyway.

Obviously I voted NO.

I don't understand why they're asking us.

Unless they think going ahead against a no vote will guarantee them a free pass into the team bath after the match...

They've realised there may be a massive turnout to knick what's not already been taken down.

Re: Boleyn Ground - The REAL Referendum - How Will You Be Voting?
Jack Sullivan (a child) started spouting off about it all as its all his idea apparently.

People then started having a pop so he back peddled and offered a vote, which the official site is running.

No. Should have started bulldozing it Wednesday.
All this shit about another chance for fans who couldn't go Tuesday, they've had all season to say goodbye.
What about those who couldn't go Tuesday and can't go to the ladies game?
How about another game for them too!

No vote for me although I would prob have gone more so as everyone will be on the pitch after this. Also expected a huge crowd.

Can't see why they don't play it before or after one of the games at new stadium.

Am also against the z list celebs getting involved to be honest.

Not a competitive / ''real'' game so would not be bothered.

Re: Boleyn Ground - The REAL Referendum - How Will You Be Voting?
Not too bothered one way or the other whether there happens to be a charity match there in June. Just wish it wasn't put out as "a last chance to visit" or "for those that missed out in the ballot" etc.

I'm pretty sure West Ham veterans are playing Great Ormond Street at 7.30pm on Friday 27th anyway. So there is still a "last game" even if the June one doesn't happen.

If the ladies game happens I might go along just to keep an eye on them. To make sure there are no middle aged pervs leering at them!!
